Ohio Beef Cattle Nutrition & Management School; session 1, Dr. Steve Boyles on Handling for Quality
The first session of the 2020 Ohio Beef Cattle Nutrition and Management School was hosted by the Ohio State University Extension Beef Team on January 29 in Woodville, and repeated the following evening in Newark, Ohio. During that first session, Dr. Steve Boyles, Ohio State University Beef Specialist, discussed how the improper management and handling of fed cattle during sorting and transport can negatively impact the quality of the end product.
