Back-trajectory analysis to understand black cutworm migration in Canada
The document presents a summary sheet of an analysis focused on the migration of the black cutworm in eastern Canada using wind back trajectories. Migration events of the black cutworm in southern Quebec and Ontario were examined using historical meteorological data describing wind back trajectories (HYSPLIT), the climatic conditions associated with these trajectories, as well as moth captures from provincial trapping networks, for the period from 2010 to 2024.
